“The lobby has dried mud all over. The first room they gave us smelled like teenage boy locker room. The second room was clean. The bathroom ceiling had black on it though. Refused to shower in it. Breakfast was passable at best. There isn’t many choices to stay in Point Pleasant that’s why it got a 3. Otherwise it would have been lower.”

“Perfect cozy little cabin for our family of five, plus dog. The pathway was beautiful and inviting, the area was quiet and peaceful. Cabin was very clean and appreciated that the bathroom had everything you need to shower!”

The cabin is comfortable and very thoughtfully stocked (in particular, the kitchen has every gadget, pot, pan, seasoning, coffee, creamer, you name it). The host, Kathy, is friendly and helpful. “Overall, this stay worked for the purpose our group needed it for. There were a few hiccups along the way, but nothing unfixable. The house itself is beautiful, the hammock on the deck is a really cool feature but also placed in a spot where there was a 50/50 chance you'd have a sewage smell while enjoying the feature.
